City Life: Online is a community serious City RP project for s&box—jobs, districts, and long-form stories with clear expectations instead of default sandbox chaos. It is not an official Facepunch product; it is player-led content on the platform.

Do I need s&box to play?

Yes. CLO runs on s&box (Steam). Install or update the game, then connect through the in-game browser or a join link the team posts on Discord when a session is live.

How do I join the server?

Install s&box, follow this site’s “How to join,” read the player guide, then connect using the server listing or join link announced on Discord when play is scheduled. Introduce yourself there if you need first-day help from staff.

What does “serious roleplay” mean here?

It means staying in-character, letting consequences stick, and aiming for believable scenes. Rules and tone are in the player guide and Discord—read them before treating the city like a deathmatch lobby.

Where are rules, whitelists, and patch notes?

On Discord: rules changes, whitelisting if it is enabled, playtests, patch notes, and schedules. This site is for discovery; the community hub for live policy and timing is Discord.

Is CLO affiliated with Facepunch or Steam?

No. CLO is an independent community project for s&box. Facepunch, Steam, Valve, and s&box are separate entities; trademarks belong to their owners, and this project is not endorsed by them.

Can I stream or record on CLO?
